Monobank

Monobank was launched in 2017 as a pioneering mobile-only bank in Ukraine. It is not a standalone bank with its own license but operates as a retail product and brand under the banking license of JSC "UNIVERSAL BANK". The project was co-founded by Dmytro Dubilet, Oleg Gorokhovskyi, and Misha Rogalskyi through their company, Fintech Band. Monobank's mission is to provide a seamless, user-friendly, and low-cost banking experience by eliminating physical branches and focusing on a powerful mobile app. It has grown rapidly to become a leading player in the Ukrainian banking sector, known for its innovative features, popular cashback program, and strong brand engagement.
