MMM of Florida, Inc. was a corporation registered in Florida in April 1994 by Sergey Mavrodi, the founder of the notorious "MMM" financial pyramid. The company became inactive and was administratively dissolved in September 1995. The global MMM organization, of which this entity was a part, is recognized as one of the world's largest and most devastating Ponzi schemes, primarily operating in Russia in the 1990s where it defrauded millions of investors. The scheme promised unsustainably high returns and paid earlier investors with money from new recruits, collapsing when it could no longer attract sufficient new capital.
