Founded in 1961 by a small group of local educators, Mission Federal Credit Union was initially established to serve the teachers of the San Diego County school system. It has since grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the area, with its mission focused on member service rather than profit. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, earnings are returned to members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and reduced fees. The credit union offers a complete line of financial services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services, to its extensive member base.
