Founded in 1955 as Maxwell Federal Credit Union, MAX Credit Union is a community-chartered, member-owned financial cooperative based in Montgomery, Alabama. Initially serving personnel at Maxwell Air Force Base, it has since expanded its field of membership to serve communities throughout Central and East Alabama. MAX's mission is to be a trusted financial partner for its members, offering a comprehensive suite of financial products including checking and savings accounts, consumer loans, mortgages, and investment services, all while operating under the not-for-profit, member-first credit union philosophy.
