Marketopen was a trading name for Monecor (London) Ltd, a financial services company founded in 1965. The company provided online trading services for retail and professional clients, specializing in Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and spread betting across various asset classes including forex, indices, shares, and commodities. In 2022, the parent company and all its brands, including Marketopen, consolidated under the name OvalX. However, in December 2022, OvalX entered special administration and ceased all trading activities. Its client book was subsequently sold and transferred to Capital.com.
