Founded in 2013 by Nkem Okocha, Mamamoni is a social enterprise dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for low-income women in rural and urban communities in Nigeria. The organization's model focuses on providing women with practical, free vocational training in skills such as tailoring, catering, and mobile farming. Alongside skills acquisition, Mamamoni delivers crucial financial literacy education. Upon completion, it facilitates access to interest-free or low-interest micro-loans (micro-credit) through its fintech platform, enabling these women to start and sustain their own small businesses and achieve economic independence.
