Launched in July 2019 by its parent company, La Banque Postale, Ma French Bank was designed to be a fully digital bank targeting a younger demographic in France. It offered mobile-centric services including current accounts, payment cards, personal loans, and crowdfunding projects, all managed through a smartphone application. Despite attracting a significant number of customers, the bank failed to achieve profitability. In December 2023, La Banque Postale announced its decision to cease Ma French Bank's activities, with a gradual wind-down and closure of all accounts planned through 2024 and 2025.
