Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA), formerly Nassau International Airport, is the main international airport for The Bahamas, located on the island of New Providence. It is the fourth busiest airport in the Caribbean. Since 2007, the airport has been operated and managed by the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD), a Bahamian company owned by the Government of The Bahamas and operated by Vantage Airport Group. NAD is responsible for the operation, management, and redevelopment of LPIA, which has undergone significant terminal redevelopment projects to modernize its facilities and enhance the passenger experience.
