Originally chartered in 1937 to serve the employees of the National Tube Company, Lormet Community Federal Credit Union has since expanded its services. In 2003, it received a community charter from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), allowing it to offer membership to anyone within Lorain County, Ohio. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to serve as its members' primary financial resource by providing a comprehensive range of personal financial services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and other modern banking solutions.
