lind-waldock
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded as a discount brokerage, Lind-Waldock grew to become one of the largest and most recognized names in the retail futures industry. It provided individual investors with access to trade futures and options on futures across various markets, including commodities, currencies, and financial indices. The company was acquired by Refco in 2000. Following Refco's collapse in 2005 due to an accounting scandal, its assets, including the Lind-Waldock division, were acquired by Man Financial, which later rebranded as MF Global. Lind-Waldock operated as the retail division of MF Global until MF Global's high-profile bankruptcy in 2011, at which point the Lind-Waldock brand and its operations ceased to exist.
