Kesko Food Baltics was the operational entity for the Finnish trading sector giant, Kesko Group, within the grocery market of the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). The division operated supermarket chains in the region. However, in 2004, Kesko Group made a strategic decision to divest its food retail operations in the Baltics, selling its chains (including the Rimi Baltic stores at the time) to focus on other business areas. Today, Kesko's primary business in the Baltic states is concentrated in the building and technical trade sector through its subsidiary Kesko Senukai. The "Kesko Food Baltics" entity as an active grocery operator is no longer functional.
