The Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU), founded in 1960, is the primary trade association for credit unions across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Its core mission is to represent, support, and provide a range of services to its affiliated credit union members. These services include advocacy and lobbying on behalf of the credit union movement, regulatory and compliance guidance, marketing support, training and development for staff and volunteers, and facilitating shared services to enhance the operational efficiency and offerings of individual credit unions.
