InstaPay is a secure payment application launched in March 2022 by the Egyptian Banks Company (EBC) under the supervision of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). It operates on the national Instant Payment Network (IPN), a key initiative for Egypt's digital financial transformation. The platform allows users to instantly transfer money between different bank accounts, "Meeza" national payment cards, and mobile wallets using their mobile number, an Instant Payment Address (IPA), or account details, thereby promoting financial inclusion and a less-cash society.
