PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero), commercially known as Indonesia Re, is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) established by the Government of Indonesia. Its primary mission is to act as the national reinsurer, enhancing domestic capacity, reducing reinsurance premium outflows, and supporting the stability of the Indonesian financial system. The company was officially launched in 2016, following the government's initiative to consolidate state-owned reinsurance activities. Indonesia Re provides a comprehensive range of reinsurance solutions, including life, general, and sharia reinsurance, to domestic and regional insurance companies.
