Indian Financial Technology and Allied Services (IFTAS) is a non-profit, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), established under the Companies Act, 2013. Its mission is to design, deploy, and provide essential IT-related services to the RBI, banks, and other financial institutions in India. The company manages and operates critical national payment system infrastructure such as the Indian Financial Network (INFINET), the Structured Financial Messaging System (SFMS), and the Indian Banking Community Cloud (IBCC), ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of India's financial communications and operations.
