Its core mission is to simplify access to financial data and payment services for third-party providers, software developers, and enterprises. Through a single, unified API, Ibanity allows its clients to connect to a vast network of European banks, facilitating both Account Information Services (AISP) for accessing account data and Payment Initiation Services (PISP) for initiating payments, all in compliance with the PSD2 regulation. The company was founded in 2017 and acquired by Isabel Group in 2018 to strengthen its position in the European Open Banking market.
