Hungarian National Trading House
Information by Research Trustfinance
The Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH) was founded in 2012 as a key instrument of Hungary's foreign economic strategy. Its primary mission was to support Hungarian SMEs in finding new export opportunities and entering foreign markets. MNKH operated a global network of trading houses to facilitate business connections, provide market information, and help Hungarian companies navigate the complexities of international trade. Following a government review, the institution was closed in 2018 due to criticisms regarding its efficiency and high operational costs, with its core export promotion tasks being integrated into the newly structured Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA).
