Founded in 2011, flinc was a technology company that operated a dynamic, real-time carpooling network via a mobile app and website. Its mission was to make mobility more efficient, affordable, and sustainable by connecting drivers with passengers heading in the same direction. The platform was acquired by Deutsche Bahn in 2016 and subsequently by Daimler Mobility in 2017. As part of a strategic realignment, Daimler discontinued the flinc service at the end of 2021.
