Founded in 2001, the Forum pour l'Investissement Responsable (FIR) is a non-profit association that brings together a diverse group of stakeholders in the French financial community, including asset managers, investors, asset owners, credit rating agencies, consultants, and civil society organizations. Its primary mission is to encourage and advance the adoption of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria in investment practices. The FIR achieves this through dialogue, research, public awareness campaigns, and advocacy, acting as a central hub for responsible investment in France and representing the French Social Investment Forum (SIF) on the European stage.
