The European Central Securities Depositories Association (ECSDA) is a non-profit organization that represents 39 Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) across 35 European countries. Established in 1997, its mission is to foster cooperation and to provide a collective voice for European CSDs. ECSDA facilitates dialogue with European public authorities and other stakeholders on the development and implementation of regulations affecting securities settlement, safekeeping, and related services, aiming to contribute to the creation of a safe and efficient single financial market in Europe.
