Originally established as the Russian division of EFG Asset Management, the investment arm of the global Swiss private banking group EFG International, the company provided bespoke asset management and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in Russia. Following the geopolitical events of 2022, EFG International divested from its Russian operations by selling the subsidiary to the local management team. The transaction was completed in September 2022, and the firm was subsequently rebranded to A-Capital, continuing its operations as a fully independent Russian entity focused on asset management and investment advisory services.
