Founded in 2017, Ecoplastile is a manufacturing and social enterprise dedicated to addressing the challenges of plastic pollution, deforestation, and unemployment in Uganda. The company utilizes a proprietary and environmentally friendly process that is both chemical-free and energy-saving to recycle and transform various types of plastic waste. The end products are durable, affordable construction materials, including paving tiles, plastic lumber, and roofing tiles, which serve as sustainable alternatives to traditional wood and concrete products.
