The Diverse Asset Managers' Initiative (DAMI) is a non-profit advocacy organization launched in 2016. Its primary mission is to raise awareness among institutional investors, such as foundations and endowments, about the benefits of investing with and the consistent outperformance of asset management firms owned by women and people of color. DAMI works to increase the number of diverse-owned firms and the total assets they manage by conducting research, creating action plans for investors, and fostering connections within the financial industry.
