CRAB was promoted by several leading commercial banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions in Bangladesh, with a technical collaboration with ICRA Limited of India (an associate of Moody's Investors Service). The company's primary mission is to provide high-quality, objective, and independent credit ratings to enhance transparency and efficiency in the Bangladeshi financial markets.
