Credit Commercial du Canada
Information by Research TrustFinance
Credit Commercial du Canada operated as a Schedule II bank in Canada, providing a range of commercial banking and financial services. It was the Canadian arm of its parent company, the major French bank Crédit Commercial de France (CCF). The bank's history in Canada concluded after HSBC Holdings plc acquired CCF in 2000. Following this global acquisition, CCF's Canadian operations were integrated into HSBC's existing Canadian subsidiary, HSBC Bank Canada, and the Credit Commercial du Canada entity was formally dissolved in late 2002.
