Churchill car insurance
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 1989 by Martin Long, Churchill was one of the UK's first direct-to-consumer car insurance companies. The company grew rapidly, becoming famous for its "Churchie" the nodding dog mascot. In 2003, Churchill was acquired by the Royal Bank of Scotland group and was subsequently integrated into the Direct Line Group. When Direct Line Group demerged from RBS in 2012, Churchill remained one of its core brands. The company's mission is to provide straightforward and reliable insurance products, focusing on customer service and a simplified claims process.
