Founded in 1939 to serve the employees of the Electric Boat Corporation, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has since grown to become the largest credit union in eastern Connecticut. As a community-chartered, not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned by its members. The institution offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including personal and business checking and savings accounts, mortgages, auto loans, credit cards, and investment services, with a mission to provide competitive and convenient financial solutions to its community.
