Founded in 1951 as Banque Libanaise pour le Commerce, the company was renamed BLOM BANK (Banque du Liban et d'Outre-Mer) in 1970. It has established itself as one of Lebanon's foremost banking institutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including retail banking, corporate banking, private banking, investment banking, and asset management. Despite the ongoing severe financial crisis in Lebanon, the bank continues its operations, having also built a significant regional presence with subsidiaries and branches across the Middle East and Europe.
