Founded in 2017, bit4you was the first Belgian cryptocurrency platform registered with the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). Its mission was to make digital currency investment accessible, simple, and secure for both individuals and professionals. The platform offered a wallet, a trading exchange, and a "demo" mode for users to practice trading. However, in April 2023, the company suspended its activities after its service provider, CoinLoan, faced insolvency, freezing a significant portion of bit4you's client assets. This led to the company's bankruptcy in May 2023.
