BCR Social Finance IFN S.A. is the first financial institution in Romania exclusively dedicated to supporting the social economy. Launched in 2018 as a subsidiary of Banca Comercială Română (BCR) and in partnership with the European Investment Fund (EIF), its mission is to facilitate the development of social impact organizations. The company operates as a Non-Banking Financial Institution (IFN), providing tailored financial products such as loans and guarantees, alongside financial education and consulting, to empower social enterprises and NGOs to grow and achieve their societal objectives.
