Established on 1 December 1974 under the Bank Simpanan Nasional Act 1974, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Finance. Its primary mission is to encourage savings, investments, and smart financial management among the Malaysian public. BSN offers a wide range of retail banking products and services, including savings and current accounts, personal loans, home loans, credit cards, Islamic banking facilities (BSN Islamic), and wealth management services. With an extensive network of branches and agents across Malaysia, the bank is mandated to ensure all Malaysians have access to financial services.
