Atlanta Micro Fund
Information by Research TrustFinance
Atlanta Micro Fund (AMF) was a non-profit organization dedicated to providing small loans, or microloans, to entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Atlanta area, particularly those who could not access traditional financing. Its mission was to foster economic development and empower local communities through entrepreneurship. In 2011, in a strategic move to increase scale and impact, Atlanta Micro Fund's portfolio and operations were acquired by Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE), a Georgia-based Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The mission and services of AMF are now fully integrated into and carried on by ACE, which continues to provide capital, coaching, and connections to underserved entrepreneurs across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
