The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the national regulatory body for Australia's vocational education and training (VET) sector. Established in 2011, ASQA's primary mission is to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met by VET providers. It is responsible for the registration of training organisations and the accreditation of VET courses, conducting audits and taking compliance action to protect the interests of students and the integrity of national qualifications.
