ALIDE, S.G.R. is a private, non-profit financial entity supervised by the Bank of Spain. Established in 1982, its primary mission is to support the business fabric by improving access to credit for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), the self-employed, and entrepreneurs. The company achieves this by providing financial and technical guarantees (avales) to banks and other financial institutions on behalf of its members, which in turn allows these businesses to secure loans and other financing under more favorable terms and conditions.
