Chartered in 1954, Aerospace Federal Credit Union (AFCU) was originally established to serve the financial needs of the employees of The Aerospace Corporation. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide its members with exceptional financial services, competitive rates, and lower fees compared to for-profit banks. AFCU is owned and operated by its members and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. It offers a comprehensive suite of products including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services, all while focusing on the financial well-being of its specific field of membership.
