AÉSIO mutuelle was formed in January 2021 from the merger of three established French mutuals: Adréa Mutuelle, Apréva Mutuelle, and Eovi Mcd mutuelle. As a mutualist company, it is owned by its members rather than shareholders and operates on a non-profit basis. Its mission is to make quality healthcare accessible to all and to act as a "health activist" by supporting its members throughout their lives with comprehensive health, provident (life and disability), and savings/retirement insurance products. AÉSIO mutuelle is a key entity within the Aéma Groupe, one of France's leading mutual protection groups.
