I recently had the displeasure of banking with Capitec Bank and I have to say, I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The service was subpar and the employees were unprofessional and unhelpful. I had several issues with my account and when I tried to contact customer service, I was met with long wait times and unhelpful representatives who seemed to have no idea how to solve my problems. I also found their online banking system to be clunky and difficult to navigate, which made managing my account even more frustrating. In addition, I was charged exorbitant fees for basic banking services, such as ATM withdrawals and money transfers. It seemed like every time I turned around, there was another unexpected charge on my account.
