ValuBond was established as a web-based fixed income trading portal designed to provide financial advisors and traders with electronic execution, pre-trade price transparency, and access to a broad inventory of fixed-income securities. Originally a subsidiary of Knight Capital Group, the ValuBond platform and related assets were acquired by MarketAxess Holdings Inc. in December 2012. Today, its technology and client base are integrated into the broader MarketAxess suite of electronic trading solutions for institutional credit markets, serving a global network of institutional investor and broker-dealer firms.
