Originally chartered in 1941 to serve the employees of Sonoco Products Company, SPC Credit Union has since expanded to serve a broader community. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to be the primary financial partner for its members by providing competitive rates, lower fees, and personalized services. The credit union offers a comprehensive suite of products including savings and checking accounts, personal and auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and digital banking solutions, with profits being returned to members in the form of better rates and services.
