SericaPay was a fintech startup and a graduate of the Y Combinator Summer 2015 (YCS15) batch. The company's mission was to bridge the payment gap between Western businesses and the rapidly growing market of Chinese consumers by providing a simple API to integrate popular Chinese payment methods like WeChat Pay and Alipay. It effectively acted as the "Stripe for China payments." In 2017, SericaPay was acquired by the Singapore-based payment solutions provider FOMO Pay, and its operations were absorbed into the acquiring company.
