It operated as a multi-asset broker, providing retail and professional clients with online trading services through spread betting and Contracts for Difference (CFDs) across a wide range of markets, including forex, indices, commodities, and equities. The company was headquartered in London and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In December 2022, it was announced that rival broker Capital.com would acquire Ovalx's client base, and Ovalx subsequently wound down its operations, officially closing in 2023.
