Originally chartered in 1933 as Monocacy Federal Credit Union to serve employees of the Naval Propellant Plant, the institution rebranded as Nymeo Federal Credit Union in 2013. As a not-for-profit cooperative, Nymeo is owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive range of financial products, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, and investment services, with a focus on community involvement and the financial well-being of its members.
