The Neev Fund is a private equity fund established as a partnership between the State Bank of India (SBI) and the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Managed by SBICAP Ventures Ltd., its mission is to provide capital to SMEs in eight of India's low-income states, aiming to create jobs, foster inclusive growth, and deliver essential services like clean water, sanitation, and energy. The fund targets businesses that can generate both commercial returns and positive social and environmental impact, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
