Established in 2012 by a decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Investment Corporation (NIC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Its primary mission is to manage a dedicated portion of the National Fund, focusing on long-term investments in alternative asset classes, primarily private equity. NIC's investment strategy aims to generate long-term returns, diversify the National Fund's portfolio, and gain access to advanced investment expertise and new technologies for Kazakhstan.
