Founded in 2014, Mesfix is a financial technology (FinTech) company based in Colombia that operates an online "crowdfactoring" platform. Its mission is to democratize investment and provide an alternative source of financing for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The platform allows businesses to sell their accounts receivable (invoices) at a discount to a community of investors, thereby gaining immediate liquidity. In return, investors can purchase these invoices and earn a return when the invoice is paid in full on its due date. Mesfix facilitates the entire process, from vetting the businesses and invoices to managing the transactions between sellers and investors.
