Founded on November 10, 1961, the Manila Teachers' Mutual Aid System, Inc. (MTMASI) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation established to extend aid and benefits to its members and their families. Operating under the supervision of the Philippine Insurance Commission, MTMASI's mission is to provide financial security and support to public school teachers through a variety of services, including mortuary and retirement benefits, optional life insurance plans, and various loan facilities such as salary, calamity, and emergency loans. The organization is built on the principle of mutual assistance among its members.
