Founded in 1951, Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc was one of Nigeria's first and most respected insurance firms, offering a wide range of general and special risk insurance products to both individual and corporate clients. For decades, it was a publicly quoted company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In 2020, the company was acquired by Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc in a landmark deal. Following the acquisition, Law Union & Rock Insurance was delisted from the stock exchange and its operations, assets, and liabilities were fully integrated into Veritas Kapital Assurance, which now continues its legacy.
