Chartered in 1951, Greater Kinston Credit Union was originally established to serve the employees of the E.I. DuPont Kinston plant. It has since grown into a community-chartered, not-for-profit financial cooperative. As a member-owned institution, its mission is to provide sound, competitive financial products and services, with profits being returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and improved services.
