Global Access Savings and Loans Limited was a non-bank financial institution licensed and regulated by the Bank of Ghana. The company focused on providing a range of financial products, including various savings accounts, fixed deposits, and credit facilities (loans) primarily to individuals, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana. On August 16, 2019, as part of a major clean-up of the country's financial sector, the Bank of Ghana revoked the company's operating license due to severe insolvency and its inability to meet the obligations of its depositors. The company's operations ceased, and it was placed into receivership.
