Founded in 1977, FOJP Service Corporation was established to provide a comprehensive range of insurance, risk management, and administrative services. As a subsidiary of The Mount Sinai Health System, FOJP manages one of the largest and most sophisticated alternative risk financing programs in the United States. Its primary mission is to serve a select group of major New York-based healthcare institutions by managing the Hospitals Insurance Company, Inc. (HIC), a New York-licensed property/casualty insurance company, and providing specialized claims administration, patient safety, and risk management solutions to its insureds.
